Bifolds are the perfect way to bring the ‘outside in’ and offer unrestricted panoramic views.  Bifold window area  wonderful way to enjoy flexible open plan living space. You can use them to separate off two rooms – a kitchen and a living room, for example – and have the option to open up them up in an instant when needed.

The bifold window do not require much space as they are made with slim profiles and will not be too obstructive like some other bifold doors.

The Bifold doors are UV resistant meaning they will outlast timber and aluminium frames when exposed to the sun. They also require almost no maintenance.

  • ARCO double glazed products (including double glazed bifold doors) provide enhanced security against break-ins and storm protection in high-risk coastal areas.

ARCO Double Glazing & Framing only manufactures and stocks  frames. We carry eight standard factory colours but can manufacture frames in a range of Dulux colours to suit your design requirements. Our double glazing profiles keep their colour even under exposure to extreme temperature, weathering or UV exposure, making them ideal for the Australian climate.

We carry three sash styles with various hinge options and a wide selection of accessories, so you can custom design your windows.

Our frames offer the best value and greater benefits over the traditional timber and aluminium profiles, including UV protection, thermal and sound insulation, salt-water resistance and low maintenance.

Our profiles are made from recyclable materials. They are lead-free and use environmentally friendly CalciumZinc and are designed with galvanised steel reinforcements for added strength and security.

The frames have built-in water drainage channels that are slot-shaped and a minimum width of 30mm to quickly and effectively drain water even under strong storm
conditions.

We use Winkhaus fittings and locking systems to ensure our windows and doors are of the highest quality. Winkhaus has earned the confidence of customers all over the world with innovative products and competent service for over 160 years

Toughened Glass

Toughened glass is commonly known as safety glass. Toughened glass is either thermically or chemically treated to increase its strength and to classify it as Grade A Safety glass. It is five times stronger than a standard sheet of float glass of the same thickness. The toughening process reduces the risk of it cracking.

Application

Toughened glass is recommended for large, full length windows or elevated windows that need more strength for safety purposes. Toughened glass is also used for doors and areas of the house prone to injuries such as bathrooms.

Low-E glass

Low-E glass stands for Low Emissivity Glass and works similar to insulation inside your home. Low-E glass in double glazing has a thin coating on the inside of the external pane. It essentially allows your house to be cool in summer and warm in winter without tinting the windows. In summer, a portion of the heat that passes through the window is absorbed and reflected outside. In winter, it will create a barrier for the heat trying to escape through the window and reflect it back indoors.

Untitled-1

Application

Low-E Glass comes as standard in all of ARCO’s windows and doors. This type of glass is offered as and optional extra by our competitors.

Untitled-2

Our privacy glass is called white translucent glass and offers maximum privacy to the windows.
