We completed this whole house in January 2019, replacing old aluminium window frames with our double glazed windows in Grey Anthracite. This choice of colour contrasts nicely with the light brick exterior and makes the windows a feature which we love!
All of our windows and doors come with Low-E glass as standard which is something that a lot of competitors charge as an extra feature. Low-E glass significantly reduces the amount of UV rays that are emitted through the window and into the home. This saves furniture from fading, as an example. This family had a dog which spent a lot of time indoors, especially lying in the sun. The Low-E glass will help protect the dog and ensure that he can safely lay in the sun all day long.
This family chose to have externally opening awning windows which are great for ventilation. By installing double glazed windows, you don’t need to leave your windows open to let cool air in but rather, open them momentarily to let your house breathe when you wish. Keeping the windows shut means that the air conditioner doesn’t need to work harder, reducing power bills. The tight seals of the windows mean that no cool air will escape and the house will remain at a comfortable temperature all day long.
